Phone Screen Resolution: Do you need a 4K phone?

Display resolution in smartphones has been steadily increasing. Sony's Xperia Z5 Premium even sports a 4K display. But do you even NEED that
large a resolution in your phone? What are you trying to prove, anyway?
That Freddy down the street is a pathetic scrub because he only has a
720p phone? What does that say about you as a person, that you have to
put other people down like that?
